Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment programs utilizing evidence-based practices and various therapeutic modalities. Implement individualized strategies that maximize recovery and mobility while educating patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes for diverse populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports-related cases. Meet and exceed clinical utilization targets and business objectives within our outpatient office in Arlington, Virginia. Work Monday through Friday for approximately 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using word processing software and electronic health records
- A capacity to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues, fostering trust and satisfaction
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Familiarity with a range of therapeutic equipment and treatment protocols for varied patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
