Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to formulate personalized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, and manual therapy to alleviate pain and promote mobility while continuously monitoring progress to adjust strategies. Maintain accurate records of treatments and responses, assist patients in selecting appropriate assistive devices, and provide education on self-care practices. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars to stay updated on latest practices. This role involves working onsite in our outpatient office in Perth Amboy, NJ, serving children and adults with orthopedic, neurological, and chronic pain conditions. We offer mentorship for new graduates and support for career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and treatment tracking.
- A passion for helping patients achieve their potential and working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience
