Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within our outpatient setting. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment. Track and document patient progress meticulously in our clinical documentation system, reevaluating goals regularly to adjust plans as needed. Fit and recommend assistive devices to support recovery, while providing education to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques. Maintain professional development through workshops and participation in professional societies. Work Monday through Friday with flexible hours to choose your own schedule. This role serves pediatric and adult clients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Active and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that facilitate effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to modify approaches based on individual patient needs.
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist
