Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs, including detailed physical assessments and functional evaluations to guide treatment planning. Design and implement individualized treatment programs based on physician referrals, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation technologies. Foster strong communication with patients and caregivers while documenting progress meticulously and adjusting plans as necessary. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance clinical skills. Work onsite Monday through Friday for 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with diverse patient conditions
- Knowledge and application of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to enhance patient recovery
- Prior engagement in community outreach or wellness programs
