Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to formulate tailored treatment plans, then implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions while monitoring progress through continuous assessment. Deliver compassionate care and consult with patients and caregivers to educate them on conditions, treatments, and preventative measures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and meet established clinical goals and performance metrics. Manage diverse patient populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases using electronic medical record systems.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience
- Current CPR certification and proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Proficient with computer systems and word processing to maintain accurate patient records and reports
- A passion for establishing meaningful relationships with patients and contributing positively to their recovery
Desired Qualifications
- Further experience working with specialized populations within the physical therapy landscape, such as athletes or children
