Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, crafting personalized treatment plans based on individual needs. Utilize therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and state-of-the-art equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Document patient progress meticulously, modify therapy plans as necessary, and educate patients and families on assistive devices and self-care practices. Engage in continual re-evaluation of patient progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving therapeutic goals while participating in professional development activities. Work onsite in East Brunswick during standard Monday-to-Friday hours with autonomy to select your schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A current state license in Physical Therapy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and word processing
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current CPR certification
- Two or more years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient encounters and tracking treatment plans
