Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical history and performing assessments to determine tailored treatment plans. Implement evidence-based protocols utilizing various modalities while clearly communicating goals and findings to patients and families. Maintain comprehensive documentation of progress, including daily encounter notes and discharge evaluations, and collaborate with providers to modify plans as conditions change. Manage time to meet productivity goals, participate in departmental meetings, and assist in discharge planning with referrals. Engage in professional development through workshops and mentorship roles for students, while promoting a culture of exceptional customer service. This role serves a diverse outpatient population recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions within a modern facility featuring advanced therapeutic technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist within Florida
- American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification
