Job Summary

Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment programs tailored to their needs and recovery goals. Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to assist in recovery. Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to ensure optimal outcomes. Engage in direct patient care, executing evidence-based strategies to address various conditions, and facilitate effective rehabilitation. Enhance the patient experience through exceptional customer service and proactive communication with patients and their families. Partake in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and share insights for improved health outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and supportive practices that align with their treatment protocols. Meet utilization and quality metrics while contributing to the overall business success of Convivial Physical Therapy.

Required Qualifications

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and operational efficiencies
  • A genuine ability to build rapport with patients, inspiring them to surpass their rehabilitation goals
  • The role will primarily take place onsite at our outpatient office in Richmond, Virginia
  • The work hours are Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life within a 40-hour workweek

  • Experience in specialized therapy areas, particularly orthopedics, pediatrics, and sports medicine
