Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for patients referred for therapeutic interventions, tailoring individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education to promote healing and function, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, collaborating closely with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation regarding evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Provide guidance and education to patients and families on treatment strategies, self-management practices, and preventative measures to enhance rehabilitation. Contribute to clinic operations through active participation in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Treat a diverse patient population including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological impairments, sports-related conditions, and pediatric needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, with active certification from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
- Current CPR Certification, with a commitment to maintaining safety and emergency protocols
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients and colleagues
- Strong computer and documentation skills, including familiarity with patient management software
