Job Summary
Conduct direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Perform thorough functional evaluations using advanced diagnostic testing, assess home environments for independence improvements, and administer manual and therapeutic exercise programs. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, implement and adjust treatment plans based on progress, and document care plans accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic plans and attend case conferences. Requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, NJ license, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program
- Possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with an excellent standing
- Current CPR certification
- An understanding of and compliance with federal, state, and governing agency regulations
