Job Summary
Evaluate and diagnose patients' conditions through comprehensive assessments and collaborate on creating individualized treatment plans for cardiovascular, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal recovery. Deliver therapeutic exercises and modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy while educating patients on proper body mechanics. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available. Provide emotional support and motivation to foster a positive atmosphere during rehabilitation. Work onsite at our outpatient office in Jacksonville, Florida, within a collaborative environment featuring interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques pertinent to physical therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the team
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, ideally with a focus on cardiovascular rehabilitation
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and tracking of patient progress
