Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and limitations, identifying specific needs and rehabilitation goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and specialized equipment. Manage and document patient progress while educating patients and families on at-home exercises and assistive device usage. Collaborate with doctors and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain active engagement in continuing education activities to enhance professional knowledge in new physical therapy techniques and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
- A clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings
- Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
- A proven ability to implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs
- Strong familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- A commitment to staying informed of the latest research-based physical therapy techniques and methodologies
