Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing objective assessments, and documenting results to inform treatment plans. Collaboratively establish treatment goals with patients and families, then implement therapeutic interventions using modalities such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and patient education tailored to individual needs. Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting strategies to maximize outcomes for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and interns to foster continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Basic proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
