Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations through detailed history taking and physical assessments. Develop tailored treatment plans and communicate findings to patients and families to ensure understanding and goal setting. Implement targeted treatment protocols while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and adjust plans based on patient progress. Participate in discharge planning and accurately document all patient interactions and care activities. Focus on a diverse outpatient population ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management, customizing therapy for children, adults, and the elderly.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
