Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop customized treatment plans for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and surgical interventions. Utilize therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, stretching, hands-on therapy, and equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation procedures and assistive device use to promote independence. Maintain continuous professional development through workshops and association engagement while utilizing the WebPT electronic medical record system for accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active physical therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
- Extensive knowledge of manual therapy modalities and a demonstrated ability to implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patients.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
- Current knowledge of physical therapy practices, techniques, and research, ensuring up-to-date best practices in patient care.
Desired Qualifications
