Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to formulate effective treatment plans. Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in setting achievable goals. Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and manage time efficiently to meet productivity goals. Regularly document all patient care activities, including evaluation results, treatment progress, and discharge planning, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Dedication to ethical practices and adherence to professional standards in patient care
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient setting
- Experience in manual therapy techniques and the use of therapeutic modalities
