Job Summary
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and create tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians. Implement therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques that align with individualized plans of care, focusing on restoring proper function and reducing pain. Provide insightful consultations and education to patients and families to facilitate understanding of their conditions and empower them for self-care. Continuously assess treatment efficacy and patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to align with objectives laid out by referring physicians. Meet established patient utilization goals and contribute to clinic metrics aimed at improving overall service effectiveness. This full-time role involves Monday to Friday coverage with a 40-hour work week. Applicants must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid state license and at least two years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with technology, especially in word processing and electronic health record systems
