Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical evaluations and history taking, to develop individualized treatment plans addressing functional limitations and disabilities. Implement treatment protocols using various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes. Provide consultations to other healthcare providers regarding optimal patient care and continuous treatment plans. Document all treatment sessions accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in community outreach initiatives, marketing efforts, and teamwork to promote services and enhance program development. Stay current with best practices in physical therapy through attending workshops, in-services, and pursuing continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current State license for Physical Therapy
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing
- Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems
