Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with functional limitations to establish personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to implement protocols and monitor responses. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to discuss progress and adapt care strategies, while educating patients and families on rehabilitation processes. Ensure all documentation complies with regulations and engage in leadership roles including community outreach, quality improvement projects, and departmental marketing. Provide mentorship to staff and students, participate in ongoing professional development, and work with diverse populations focusing on orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. This full-time role includes 40 hours per week with variable weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current State License for Physical Therapy
- BLS certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards
