Job Summary

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Provide skilled care using various modalities to enhance patient function while monitoring progress and documenting outcomes against defined goals. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and rehabilitation practices to promote functional independence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and share clinical strategies. This outpatient position in Woodbridge, VA, serves a diverse population ranging from acute injury recovery to chronic pain management. Advent Care Physical Therapy offers a salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, including performance incentives, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) with profit-sharing, and paid parental leave. Candidates must hold a DPT or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a current state license, and BLS certification, with at least two years of clinical experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by APTA or CAPTE
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Possession of a current state license to practice physical therapy
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by an accredited organization such as the American Heart Association
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members
  • Proficiency in using computers and software for therapy documentation and patient management
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, encouraging them to achieve their rehabilitation goals
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
