Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and implement effective treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, documenting progress and modifying care plans based on evidence-based practices. Provide education and support to patients and caregivers, fostering engagement and adherence to treatment plans. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes while exceeding minimum utilization and performance metrics. Full-time role in Metuchen, NJ with a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other clinical documentation systems
- Ability to build positive relationships with patients
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Two years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting
- Possessing current CPR certification
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies
