Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as exercises, manual therapy, and state-of-the-art equipment to manage pain and enhance mobility. Continuously track and document patient treatment responses and progress towards achieving therapeutic goals. Reassess and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical judgment to ensure optimal recovery. Educate and train patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, use of assistive devices, and understanding the principles of physical therapy for ongoing care. Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing education and participation in professional discussions and workshops. Work onsite at our outpatient office located in Jacksonville, Florida, with a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
- A demonstrated commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
- Current CPR certification
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy practice
