Job Summary
Meet patients to discuss individual goals and physical therapy needs, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to deliver personalized care. Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility, while developing cost-effective treatment plans that reduce reliance on medications. Monitor treatment progress systematically, create customized fitness programs, and document all interactions thoroughly in the WebPT EMR system. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive care and motivate patients toward healthier lifestyles. This onsite role operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a welcoming home care environment at our 5,000 square feet sports medicine center in Sacramento, focusing on orthopedic patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current and valid DC licensure as a Physical Therapist
- No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT
- A background in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Previous experience developing exercise and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs
