Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and evaluations to identify impairments, then develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans incorporating evidence-based practices. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and functional mobility while utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques to mitigate pain and facilitate healing. Continuously monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and educate families on treatment options to ensure adherence and optimal recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, post-surgery, or sports injuries. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility in Hillsdale, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Proficiency in advanced manual therapy techniques
Desired Qualifications
- further education such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT or similar platforms
- Experience in developing and implementing patient-centered rehabilitation plans tailored to individuals' unique needs
- Track record of utilizing evidence-based practice to inform treatment strategies and optimize patient outcomes
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions and recovery processes
