Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient needs and establish tailored treatment plans for adults with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports injuries. Manage a caseload averaging two patients per hour while implementing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to enhance mobility. Document progress meticulously using WebPT EMR software and regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness to adjust care plans based on patient feedback. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care and educate patients on lifestyle modifications for long-term health. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our Stratford, CT facility.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut
- Strong background in orthopedic physical therapy with at least two years of experience in an outpatient setting
- Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercises
- Experience using EMR platforms such as WebPT to document patient care effectively
