Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition and needs. Create and implement customized therapy plans incorporating hands-on techniques and movement-based therapies tailored to improve mobility. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and educate patients and families about their conditions and therapeutic processes. Utilize WebPT EMR or similar systems for efficient record-keeping and workflow management. Work onsite in a supportive outpatient environment with traditional Monday to Friday hours or four 10-hour shifts; no weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid Missouri Physical Therapy License or evidence of eligibility to obtain the license
- Strong communication skills
- A collaborative mindset
- An understanding of diverse treatment approaches
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings
- Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT
