Job Summary
Create individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, utilizing outpatient therapy techniques to perform assessments, track progress, and adjust plans. Implement cost-effective, non-surgical interventions to enhance mobility and educate patients on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications. Document patient progress accurately in the WebPT electronic medical record system while engaging in continuing education to stay informed on latest therapeutic practices. Work onsite at our Lee's Summit facility, collaborating with occupational therapists and wellness experts in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- Active Physical Therapist license in Missouri
- Active Physical Therapist license in Missouri or the ability to obtain licensure promptly
- Demonstrable commitment to providing ethical, patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with WebPT EMR
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice
- Experience with evidence-based treatment approaches and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients
