Job Summary
Assess and document patient conditions through comprehensive evaluations, then manage a structured caseload treating one patient per hour. Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments to enhance range of motion and mobility, while developing detailed care plans tailored to individual needs. Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and non-surgical options, creating personalized fitness regimens focused on strength, flexibility, and balance. Maintain open communication regarding progress and adjust treatment plans based on regular outcome evaluations. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a premier orthopedic outpatient facility specializing in sports medicine and joint replacements.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
- Proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions
- Competency in manual therapy techniques and developing evidence-based exercise protocols
- Familiarity with WebPT or similar electronic medical record systems

- Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Demonstrated skills in patient education and motivational strategies to encourage active participation in recovery
