Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess patients with functional limitations, developing comprehensive treatment plans and implementing protocols based on clinical presentations. Perform specific assessments, document findings, and manage discharge planning while coordinating follow-up care and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring observed changes in patient conditions are promptly addressed. Adhere to state and federal practice laws governing physical therapy and ensure compliance with all local regulations. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Requires Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and current New Jersey license.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current license as a Physical Therapist by the state of New Jersey
- Demonstrated knowledge of state regulations regarding physical therapy practices
- Current CPR certification
- A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience
- Full-time position
