Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions by gathering health histories and assessing physical abilities. Design and implement customized treatment plans integrating therapeutic modalities, exercise programs, and manual therapy techniques. Facilitate patient participation in therapeutic exercises and educate patients and families on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications. Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on individual responses. Document patient interactions and outcomes in the electronic health record system while maintaining regulatory compliance. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our outpatient facility in Miami, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- A passion for patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and modern rehabilitation practices
