Job Summary
Assess patients through comprehensive histories and physical exams, then design and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy and evidence-based modalities. Manage a focused caseload by treating one patient per hour, documenting all evaluations and progress in the WebPT electronic medical records system. Monitor patient responses regularly to adapt plans, while providing education on injury prevention and lifestyle adjustments. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create integrated care plans for orthopedic conditions including post-operative rehab and chronic pain. Work on-site Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean record indicating no disciplinary measures.
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques to effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions.
- Adept in developing individualized exercise regimens that cater to patients' unique conditions and needs.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient records and documentation.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
- Hands-on experience with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering relationships and open communication with staff and patients alike.
