Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to craft individualized rehabilitation programs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and advanced modalities while educating patients and families on self-management techniques. Regularly monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations. Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care, and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and team meetings. Provide mentorship to physical therapy assistants and student interns. Focus on patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. Work onsite Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically within an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy skills
- Familiarity with treatment modalities relevant to sports injuries and post-operative recovery
- Strong understanding of injury prevention and ergonomic principles
