Job Summary
Conduct thorough consultations to assess physical conditions and diagnose movement dysfunctions, then develop tailored treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies and custom exercises. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and hands-on techniques including manual therapy and massage to alleviate pain and stimulate healing. Maintain comprehensive patient records while providing educational resources on in-home treatment options and recovery expectations. Focus on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, managing a caseload of two patients per hour. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM as part of a multidisciplinary team at Posture Solutions Ltd in Ocala, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Proven expertise in developing individualized treatment plans and implementing diverse therapeutic interventions
- Strong aptitude for building rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and effective communication throughout the recovery process
- Previous experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient outcomes
