Job Summary
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments for orthopedic clients recovering from surgery, fractures, or sports injuries. Utilize manual therapy and exercise prescription to enhance mobility, conducting one-on-one sessions with 2-3 patients per hour while monitoring progress and documenting changes. Collaborate with allied health professionals to optimize multidisciplinary care, educate patients on lifestyle choices, and motivate adherence to therapy goals. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative outpatient setting focused on restoring motion and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Active Florida Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number prior to employment.
- Strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercises.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT.
