Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and objectives, then manage a caseload of one patient per hour for focused, individualized treatment sessions. Utilize evidence-based practices to improve range of motion and mobility while developing comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques and modalities. Design customized fitness and wellness programs specific to each patient, monitor treatment efficacy, and adjust care plans as needed to optimize progress. Document all services thoroughly to ensure continuity and compliance. Work onsite at our Aberdeen outpatient office Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maryland
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and implementation of exercise protocols
- Strong commitment to maintaining a clean professional record free of disciplinary actions
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the WebPT electronic medical records system
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience working with various patient populations, including adolescent athletes and older adults
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care
- Strong communication skills for effective patient education and interprofessional collaboration
