Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific goals, needs, and physical limitations, then manage a detailed caseload seeing one patient per hour. Utilize expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to develop tailored care plans incorporating manual therapy and exercise protocols, while engaging patients through personalized fitness and wellness programs. Monitor and evaluate treatment progress regularly, documenting services in compliance with regulatory standards using WebPT software. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize functional outcomes for individuals with orthopedic injuries or musculoskeletal disorders. Work onsite at our outpatient office in Oakland, California, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Hold a valid California license as a Physical Therapist.
- Maintain a clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions taken against your license.
- Possess strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated experience in developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
- Be proficient in utilizing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation and care records efficiently.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience within an outpatient orthopedic setting, showcasing competence in patient management and treatment strategies.
- Background or training in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Aquatic Therapy, Dry Needling, or Sports Rehabilitation.
