Job Summary
Assess patients' physical conditions, identify specific needs and goals, and design comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Administer effective therapies to enhance range of motion and mobility, propose non-surgical alternatives, and maintain an efficient patient load of one individual per hour. Motivate patients throughout rehabilitation sessions, document all interactions accurately, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in home care settings for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- A valid Physical Therapist license in Colorado
- No history of disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to design exercise programs tailored to individual patient goals
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience with WebPT or similar software
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Prior exposure to home care environments
- Prior exposure to community-based rehabilitation services
