Job Summary
Assess and tailor treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour to deliver personalized attention, implementing evidence-based strategies to reduce pain and improve mobility. Design customized fitness programs using various therapeutic modalities while documenting progress and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a home care setting within our Deland, Florida sports medicine facility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions against the license
- Demonstrate expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of tailored exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT
- Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Experience working in a home care context
- A proven track record of developing successful treatment plans and delivering patient-focused care
