Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including assessments of strength, range of motion, and mobility. Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment programs. Implement personalized therapy regimens incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education strategies. Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimum results. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and case managers, to enhance patient care and outcomes. Establish and maintain clear communication with patients, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless delivery of care. This full-time home care role operates Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and includes a minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic or sports medicine environments.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Washington
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Proven clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine environments
- Strong communication skills
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team dynamic
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a related field
