Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions using evidence-based testing methods to formulate detailed rehabilitation plans. Create individualized treatment regimes aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and functional capabilities while addressing pain management and prevention strategies. Participate in clinical teaching and mentorship for interns and students, and engage in annual in-service presentations to share best practices with the team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate and optimize care for adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Gather feedback from patients and caregivers regularly to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license
- 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing and treating a variety of orthopedic conditions using manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
