Job Summary
Assess and address unique patient goals by designing individualized treatment plans and implementing cost-effective, evidence-based orthopedic interventions. Manage a personalized load of one patient per hour while guiding rehabilitation through manual therapy, exercise programming, and non-surgical alternatives. Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive care plans, document progress, and motivate patients toward functional recovery. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our Virginia Beach facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- No prior board actions or disciplinary measures associated with your professional license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy
- Ability to develop effective, evidence-based exercise plans
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT or similar systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in orthopedic settings, particularly in outpatient care
- A successful track record of motivating patients and aiding them in achieving their rehabilitation goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships and collaborate with team members effectively
