Job Summary
Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour using advanced manual therapy techniques and comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse therapeutic tools. Educate patients on lifestyle changes to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while monitoring progress and adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant to ensure coordinated care, maintaining detailed documentation in WebPT software. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in Massachusetts
- Strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy
- Clear understanding of treatment techniques and protocols
- Commitment to maintaining a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license
- Competence in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient management
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient practice setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing manual therapy and developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient goals
