Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized treatment regimens for adults and children recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility while instructing patients and families on home exercises and equipment use. Monitor progress, adjust care plans per physician directives, and manage caseloads within a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or the ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
