Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to analyze patients' physical conditions, documenting findings and creating tailored treatment plans. Implement personalized therapeutic interventions to restore functionality for patients in-clinic or via home care. Monitor treatment progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment objectives and techniques to empower them throughout the rehabilitation process. Actively engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration to optimize health outcomes using evidence-based practices. Monday to Friday hours between 7 am - 3:30 pm or 8 am - 4 pm are available. This role supports orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic populations at a therapist-owned private practice in Winchester, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Active State License in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of two years of relevant, hands-on experience in a clinical setting
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Proficiency in establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients
- On-site work at the facility
- Providing care in patients' homes as part of home care services
- Working hours Monday to Friday
- Flexible options between 7 am - 3:30 pm or 8 am - 4 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate degree (DPT)
- Experience in orthopedic physical therapy
