Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each patient's unique goals, challenges, and health history. Create individualized treatment plans centered on patient-care needs, emphasizing the recovery of mobility and overall function. Manage a caseload that includes treating one patient at a time for each hour of scheduled therapy, ensuring focused and personalized attention. Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to facilitate optimal recovery. Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that encourage patients to adapt healthier lifestyle choices. Monitor and document treatment outcomes meticulously, providing clear insights and adjustments based on patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance patient care strategies and outcomes. Promote patient autonomy by discussing treatment progress, advocating for non-invasive alternatives, and guiding them toward long-term wellness. Work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative environment with two other therapists and one PT assistant.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • A valid physical therapy license to practice in New Jersey
  • A strong understanding of orthopedic conditions, treatment protocols, and rehabilitation techniques
  • Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and care tracking
  • An exemplary professional record, free of disciplinary actions related to licensure
  • Exceptional communication skills to foster positive patient interactions and teamwork

Desired Qualifications

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating the ability to independently assess and treat a variety of patient conditions
  • Experience in implementing evidence-based treatment strategies to achieve measurable patient outcomes
  • Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of efficient exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs
