Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' specific goals and needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans are developed. Manage a diverse patient caseload with one-on-one time during scheduled appointments, utilizing proven therapeutic techniques to promote recovery, mobility, and strength. Design and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating evidence-based practices to reduce medication reliance and develop tailored fitness programs aligned with rehabilitation objectives. Enhance patient motivation throughout the process while documenting interactions and outcomes accurately for multidisciplinary collaboration. This role serves orthopedic patients, including athletes and those recovering from surgery or managing chronic pain, within a collaborative outpatient team of two therapists and one PTA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California
- Clear professional record without disciplinary actions against the license
- Competence in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to develop comprehensive exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality, personalized patient care and successful rehabilitation outcomes
- Background in developing fitness programs and implementing evidence-based interventions
