Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to establish individual patient goals, then develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities. Efficiently manage patient cases averaging one per hour while documenting progress and outcomes meticulously to ensure regulatory compliance. Utilize advanced techniques focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance movement capabilities and functional independence, collaborating closely with physicians and specialists for coordinated care. Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs. This onsite role at our Woodbridge outpatient office supports patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic pain, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- No recorded disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Solid understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy
- Understanding of rehabilitation strategies
- Demonstrated ability to utilize EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience in designing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs
- Competency in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques to support patient recovery
