Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized care plans focusing on specific goals and limitations. Provide one-on-one treatment sessions managing a patient load of one per hour while implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve movement and functional outcomes. Create tailored fitness programs and educate patients on recovery journeys to promote natural healing and lifestyle modifications. Document treatment plans and progress meticulously for compliance and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within our state-of-the-art facility serving orthopedic patients with private insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a physical therapist in New Jersey, or eligibility for licensure
- A clean professional record with no history of board actions or disciplinary issues
- Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques
- A background in orthopedic outpatient therapy
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- DPT
- Demonstrated success in developing individualized exercise regimens for various patient populations
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
- A passion for sports medicine
- A commitment to pursuing continuing education and staying updated with advancements in physical therapy and treatment techniques
