Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to discern patient goals and needs, ensuring a customized approach to each individual's treatment plan. Manage a consistent patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for focused attention and high-quality interactions. Implement cost-effective and evidence-based treatment modalities aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and independence, while integrating non-surgical alternatives to minimize reliance on medications. Design and execute comprehensive care plans leveraging various therapeutic techniques based on individual assessments, curating personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to distinct patient requirements and progress. Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging them to achieve their optimal physical functionality. Ensure clear communication regarding treatment efficacy and patient progress while encouraging input from patients. Document all patient care services meticulously to maintain adherence to regulatory standards and continuity of care. The role involves Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM hours within a supportive onsite environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Possession of a current and active Physical Therapist license in Maryland
- No recorded instances of board actions or disciplinary measures on your license
- Demonstrated excellence in manual therapy techniques
- Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities
- Adeptness in designing tailored exercise programs
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience in sports medicine and physical performance enhancement techniques
