Job Summary
Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Provide hands-on therapy utilizing advanced manual techniques, develop comprehensive exercise programs, and monitor progress to adapt tactics for optimal outcomes. Educate patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies while maintaining accurate records in Web PT. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to coordinate care and promote community health through outreach initiatives. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Demonstrated mastery of various manual therapy techniques
- A strong aptitude for developing targeted exercise regimens
- Proven experience with EMR software applications, particularly Web PT
- In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy techniques backed by scientific research and advancements in the field
- Prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly in orthopedic care
- Strong communication skills to effectively motivate and engage with patients throughout the rehabilitation process
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a strong focus on patient outcomes
